To the Members of George Washington University's Greek Community:
It is with great excitement that I am informing you of a Greek publication that is currently underway. The Office of Greek Life is in the process of getting a newspaper off the ground that focuses solely on Greek Life. We are eager to begin production of this publication as it will make a great addition to the already amazing Greek community here at GW.
In an effort to move ahead with this project we are in search of students who would be willing to dedicate their time to the success of GreekSpeak. The Office of Greek Life is looking for members of the Greek community who would be interested in writing articles for this newspaper. It would be wonderful to have representation from every sorority and fraternity on campus.
In addition to writers we are also in need of leaders; committed students eager to speed up the production of this publication are welcomed to apply for an Executive Board position. These positions need to be filled immediately so that we can begin to plan out this publication.
We recognize the fact that there are little details so far concerning this project. That is because the staff will have input on the contents of this publication. For those of you who choose to participate, you will be responsible for coming up with the format of this publication. We would like as many ideas as possible from the Greek community since this is a publication for you.
GreekSpeak is going to be a great way to bring together all of the sororities and fraternities on campus. The project has the potential to be amazing. The sooner that we can begin production the better. We are looking to put out the first issue in the beginning of March.
