Spring 2006 was one of FPP's more ambitious seasons. Building on the success of Guys and Dolls, we are producing another full length musical. Under the direction of the dynamic duo of Chris Heffron and Roxanne Orkin, the show was a huge success. The cast was huge and featured Paul Marszalkowski, Jon Conners, Peter Cassell, Morgan Nearpass, Matthew Gross, Jenna Kloeppil, Ailsa Posner, Adam Linet, Robin Wood, Douglass Ann Cartwright, Andrew Rivara, Betsy Gottesman, Joshua Lederman, Audai Shakour, Lindsay Barcham, Laura Feder, Samantha Last, Marina Last, Marina Montes, Lyndsey Munter, Nikki Wetherell, Peter may, Sarah Kupferman, and Cherelle Kantey. Under the expert musical direction of John Krizel, the show was a great success.
Once Upon a Mattress. Mattress is the real, untold story of the Princess in the Pea, featuring a bossy Queen, mute King, and a swamp Princess. We also took on the challenging task of performing Jason Robert Brown's Songs from a New World, a vocally demanding musical review directed and musically directed by Paul Marszalkowski and featured an incredible cast made up of Jon Conners, Andrew Darcey, Kelsey Greenawalt, Samantha Kass, Josh Lederman, and Roxanne Orkin. The Songs cast put on such an amazing performance that they even had a professional sound recording done of the show.
