As a member of MAUVSA, GW VSA will be participating in a collective effort to support this year's philanthropy project towards MEMO - Medical, Educational Missions and Outreach.

M.E.M.O. is a student-run organization that supports the impoverished in Vietnam. Their projects include medical clinics, student scholarships, heart surgery support, aiding orphanages. This year, MEMO's efforts will be geared towards Hepatitis B education and outreach. One in four Vietnamese people suffer from the disease. By using donated funds to purchase vaccines in the United States, MEMO plans to bring their knowledge and these medications to Vietnam this summer.

By coming to GWU VSA's events, you can help the cause. Look out for our collection box at all events as well as our fundraisers throughout the year.
