Erica was born and raised in Richmond, Va (which explains "y'all"). Her vocal background includes various choirs throughout middle and high school, Spring musicals, and singing in the shower. Shortly after coming to GW she decided to satisfy her musical cravings by joining a group. Some groups seemed too formal. Others were too ... all male. The Vibes seemed just right, and luckily, they took her in.
Like many of the Vibes, Erica has a very eclectic taste in music, but her favorite vocalists are: Ella Fitzgerald, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, and Norah Jones
Erica is not positive about what she will be doing after graduation in 2006. Perhaps curating for the National Gallery ... In the mean time, she just hopes to get the most out of her time at GW..
