Non-Discrimination Constitution Clause
Student organizations are required to include an inclusive non-discrimination clause in their constitution in order to be considered a registered student organization.
Writing an effective non-discrimination clause:
Inclusive non-discrimination clauses contain a statement covering the following: age, race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender expression, disability, religion, veteran status, ancestry or national or ethnic origin.
Sample non-discrimination clause:
(Insert student organization name) will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, religion, disability, age, veteran status, ancestry, or national or ethnic origin.
