The George Washington University - Home Page
Dear Student Organizations:

We are proud to present you with the Student Organization Handbook.  The Student Advising Team is devoted to providing you with leadership opportunities in a variety of programs, services, and events.  The first step in becoming an officially recognized organization of The George Washington University requires you to register your organization, which ensures your organization's rights to assistance and privileges.  Whether you are a brand new student group or a longstanding organization within the University community, the policies, procedures, and general information in this site will be of utmost importance to your organization's needs.

This handbook is a valuable resource for student organizations.  It contains detailed information regarding facilities scheduling, organization benefits, posting policies, alcoholic beverage policies, finances, and funding information.  Please know that we are committed to improving the quality of our campus community and enhancing your experience as a student at The George Washington University.

Congratulations for deciding to become involved this year at GWU.  If you are reading this publication, you've already begun to explore your options, and we commend you for that.  Please contact us with any questions.  We are excited to work with you!

Sincerely,
Student Advising Team
