  • Spring 2008: News Update

Congratulate Dr Schulz on becoming the new Associate Deane of Research. The department is currently in search of a new chair as well as a new associate professor. You can help with search. You can attend one of their guest lectures and meet them first hand.

The next lecture will be held Thursday February 28th at 1:00 pm in Hall of Gov't 104.

    • If you are a member of the GW NSSLHA chapter, you must pay the $25 membership fee! Membership to this group is important to your future as a practicing audiologist or SLP (especially for grad school), and you can write a check or give cash to Brea or Courtney (Pres), or Vanessa, Rachel, and Rene (the VP's)
    • If you are interested in joining the national chapter of NSSHLA, see Brea or Courtney for a membership form and further information. The fee for the national chapter is $60
    • We are open to ideas for GW NSSLHA apparel. Any clever witty (possibly phonetic related?) phrases may be given to anyone on the program board, or come to the next meeting and share.

Look back for more info on grad sessions and faculty-student events. If you have any ideas relating to these events (or others) that you want to see happen- let us know!
