Net Impact programs and services are designed to inspire, equip and educate our members to use business tools for social, environmental, and economic impact, and come with a number of benefits.
Net Impact members gain first-hand experience affecting positive change throughout organizations, in the areas of corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, international development and environmental sustainability.
This experience comes largely through member-designed initiatives to improve the local community. Recent activities of the GW Net Impact chapter include:
· Green roof installation at the Elliot school
· Board Fellows (placing members on nonprofit boards of directors)
· Reception with Honest Tea founder Seth Goldman
· Lunch with socially responsible investors (Calvert), Toshiba foundation directors (nonprofit), USAID representatives and solar power experts
