Greetings to all!
This year, the NAACP is celebrating its 97th Anniversary. The Youth and College Division is celebrating its 70th Anniversary, and the GW Chapter of the NAACP is celebrating its 7th year on campus. We have a lot to look back on and congratulate ourselves for, but there is still a great deal more to be done.
With all the injustice in existence in America, the battle for Civil Rights is far from over. We, as a chapter, must do all that we can to provide those suffering from discrimination the means to fight the injustice they face and elevate themselves out of their current situation.
We are the LARGEST And the OLDEST,
The BADDEST And the BOLDEST,
The MOST LOVED And the MOST HATED,
The MOST FEARED And REVERED,
The MOST CUSSED And DISCUSSED Civil Rights Organization in America!
Combining Education and Action, the GW Chapter of the NAACP will work towards three things:
• The Expansion of Minds,
• Economic Empowerment for All,
• And ultimately, the Eradication of Injustice.
I challenge you to JOIN, to GIVE, to DO MORE!
Representing the Baddest and the Boldest,
James S. Walker President, NAACP, GW Chapter
