GWMSA Projects
The GWMSA has five projects it will be undertaking during the 2007-2008 year that will contribute to its two main goals of establishing an MSA family and making the GWMSA an influental organization. To find out more, or to get involved, please contact gwmsavp@gmail.com
Project American Dream
As one of the largest student organizations on campus, the GWMSA needs a home of its own. We will be looking to get a student center that will serve as the GWMSA's office, home, and hangout.
Project Extreme Makeover: Musallah Edition
Our goal is to clean-up and renovate the musallah to make it a more comfortable and more beautiful place to pray.
The Legacy Project
When was the GWMSA founded? Who came up with the idea for asking GW for a prayer room? These are all questions that we're asked, and we want to find answers! With this project we will go into the history of the MSA and find out about its past.
Project "MSA 4 Dummies"
Having found that we need a reliable way of transferring comprehensive knowledge and helping Board Members each year learn from the experience of others, we will now be creating GWMSA "How-to-Manuals". The manuals will deal with Jummahs, Big Dinners, MSA Leadership, Treasury, and Room-Booking, among others.
The Constitutional Convention Project
The MSA election process, standard operating procedures, and policies are in need of updating so as to ensure the organizations efficiency and effectiveness.
