Adam Waks, One in a Series
One in a Series I saw a stranger’s shirt fall off a chair And onto on the foot Of the girl who sat next to me She didn’t like it She shifted her weight so that it fell All the way to the floor Where it lay, uncomplaining She didn’t say anything Neither did I
Adam Waks is a junior at the George Washington University majoring in Psychology and English. The only language he can speak fluently is English, but he can ask for a beer and directions to the bathroom in more than five. He hopes one day to be a world famous poet, a world famous lawyer, or a house husband - whichever comes first. |
