| Mission | As the one and only marketing and consulting student organization on GW’s campus for Donors For Life, Inc. and the American Red Cross, Colonial Donors’ mission is to recruit student blood donors, consolidate the on-campus sponsorship of blood drives, and provide a centralized location for blood drives at the George Washington University.
This year we will also be focusing on the education of donors. Our hope is to gain more productive units of blood by better educating donors about blood iron levels necessary for donation. GW students can often struggle with nutrition and large scale educational events could provide for less deferrals on the day of a drive.
