CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE NEW PLEDGES! Final Numbers Coming Out Soon.
WELCOME FROM THE PRESIDENT
Charles Pressner, IFC President
Since 1858, when the first fraternity on the George Washington University's campus colonized, fraternities have played an integral part of student life at the university. Enhancing both the academic and extracurricular experience of students, fraternities have attracted thousands of well rounded men, committed to being active in university life. Fraternities
at GW are not simply social clubs, they are groups of men committed to values based leadership,
service, academics, honor and tradition; holding themselves, each day, to
a higher standard of life.
Today, with 16 chapters and over 900 men governed by the Inter-Fraternity Council, fraternal life is larger than ever. With thousands of hours of community service preformed each year by our chapters, the positive impact of the fraternities is visible.
I encourage you to explore this site and see for yourself what makes GW fraternities the best in the country.
