Collegiate Challenge
Every year, thousands of college students choose to spend their Spring Break in a fashion that benefits families all over the country. By committing to participate in a Collegiate Challenge trip, these students form a partnership with affiliates ranging from New Orleans to Miami, in the mountains or on the beach, working hard together to accomplish a much needed project for the affiliate chapter. In addition to the affiliate fee, students and their chapters are responsible for organizing and funding transportation and food for the entire week; accomodations are provided by the affiliate either in the form of volunteer centers, private homes, or church accomodations. These experiences provide students not only an opportunity to affect families and individuals in new areas, but a chance to see how Habitat operates nationwide as well.
