BRING THE WRC AND DSP TO GW!!!

Currently, there is no unbiased oversight of the working conditions underwhich merchandise bearing GW's name and logo is produced. Several years ago, a group of students, including some GW students, created the United Students Against Sweatshops (USAS) and the Workers Rights Consortium (WRC) to provide that oversight. 156 of the nations premier universities and colleges are now members of the WRC. Several years ago students pushed for GW to become a member of the WRC, however, their campaign failed. Now, PSU is demanding that GW join the WRC and sign onto the Designator Suppliers Program (DSP), which requires that GW merchandise be made in factories that meet workers rights requirements.
