Welcome to the G.W. Review

Senior Contest

2009 Senior Contest Information

Please submit all senior contest entries NO LATER than Friday March 6, 2009 by 5 PM, either by e-mail or delivery.

Every spring, the G.W. Review holds a contest for outgoing seniors; one senior artist, poet and fiction writer will have their work featured in the Review, along with a short bio and photograph.

As a general guideline, we accept no more than five poems per poet (ten pages total) and three stories per fiction writer (6000 words maximum for each). However, if you write shorter, or flash, fiction and wish to submit more pieces, please email with details.  If a writer is interested in submitting to both fiction and poetry, only five pieces total will be accepted; the contest aims to feature artists who excel in specific fields, as opposed to a single person.

There is no specific limit on senior art submissions. However, because we are a black and white publication, the G.W. Review is looking for 2-D art that is publishable in black and white. Please be sure that your art is capable of being printed in this format before you submit.

To submit: either e-mail us your work by clicking here, or drop it off at the Marvin Center, Room 431, in an envelope labeled:
