Welcome to the G.W. Review

Art Submissions

The G.W. Review is looking for 2-D art that is publishable in black
and white. Please be sure that your art is capable of being printed in
this format before you submit.

We are very interested in series that can fill an issue; however, we are
more than happy to work with more than one artist per issue.

If you are interested in working on a themed series for the Review,
please let us know, and send us samples of some of your other work. We
will review these and get back to you.

Finally, as with fiction and poetry, we are unable to offer financial
awards for publication, however, all those published will recieve two
copies of the Review in which their work appeared.

NOTE: We look at art pieces for the G.W. Review in mid-November and mid-April.  Every art piece is compiled and responses will be sent out through e-mail.

May 15-November 14 - Fall Period (Late December)

November 15-May 14 - Spring Period (Late May)

By Snail Mail

Artists interested in submitting their work may choose to mail in
samples, along with a cover letter/short biography to:

Art Editor, The GW Review
Box 20, The Marvin Center
800 21st Street, N.W.
Washington, DC 20052

Please put your e-mail on your cover letter; this will allow us to respond to your submissions quicker.

By E-Mail

We understand that simply sending out work by snail mail is not always the best (or
safest) idea, so we encourage artists to e-mail us with a description of
your work(s), thumbnails of the piece(s) and other pertinent information.

Please send your submissions to the G.W. Review here, and please include a short biography for possible inclusion into the magazine.

NOTE: The e-mail address gwreviewart@gmail.com is no longer active.  Please send all submissions to the link above.
