She will share her story of how she converted from a "card-carrying member of NARAL" to a pro-life feminist position. She discusses her experience choosing to have an abortion and how she became pro-life. A health policy expert and former state Medicaid agency head, Ms. Shablin is speaking for FFL on campus because, she says: "I can't undo my mistakes over the years - having an abortion, advocating abortion, but I can help others to learn from my mistakes. The Pro-Life Movement: An Up"HILL" Battle

Join CFL as we host Congresswoman Jean Schmidt (2-OH),
one of the 13 pro-life women on the Hill. She will speak on how she became pro-life and her experiences as a pro-life Congresswoman and how important the upcoming election season is to our cause.
Jean is the former president of Cincinnati Right to Life, and has
been a pro-life leader in the Ohio House of Representatives for years. As a State Representative, Jean sponsored an amendment to Women's Health Services diverting $1.7 million in the Ohio family planning budget away from Planned Parenthood. Jean also sponsored the ABC resolution that establishes a task force to study the Abortion - Breast Cancer link and notifies women of the possible connection between the two.
Jean has 100% rating from National Right to Life (and CFL!). LIGHT REFRESHMENTS PROVIDED!

Come join Colonials For Life as we welcome Andy Schlafly of Eagle Forum University! Mr. Schlafly will be speaking about judicial activism and the how the courts play a major role in abortion politics (and what to do about it).
Mr. Schlafly is a practicing attorney who files law briefs for conservatives before the U.S. Supreme Court on abortion and other causes. He founded and contributes to Conservapedia, which has received over 50 million page views as the conservative alternative to Wikipedia. He was on the Harvard Law Review with Barack Obama and has appeared on MSNBC, NPR, BBC and other national media.
Mr. Schlafly speaks widely to student groups, especially on the issue of taking power away from courts and on the abortion-breast cancer link.

PRO-LIFE ANSWERS TO PRO-CHOICE QUESTIONS February 20th 8:00-9:30pm Eckles Library Auditiorium (THE VERN)
Come join CFL as we talk about different situations and discussions that pro-life students deal with regarding the issue of abortion. There will be a panel of people to answer the questions: two people from the Northwest Pregnancy Center and CFL's Vice President, Meredith Madden.
This event is a great chance to have a discussion between both pro-life and pro-choice students without attacking one another!
We ask that you bring a donation of a baby items for the Northwest Center so they can help more poor women with their child-care needs.
We will have tons of food and would love to see you there!!!

We are co-hosting a breakfast with the College Republicans before we head down to the Mall.
