Chi Sigma Iota
Chi Sigma Iota is the international honor society for students, professional counselors and counselor educators. Our mission is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling.
Rho Theta Chapter was established at The George Washington University in 1997. We currently have 50 initiated members and our chapter is quite active within the GW campus community and the GW counseling department. The Rho Theta Chapter plays an integral part in molding and shaping GW's graduate counseling programs by particpating in department meetings and bringing student issues and concerns to the attention of the counseling faculty. The Rho Theta Chapter also promotes and fosters an astmosphere of support and comradery among the students of the GW counseling program through such initiatives as the mentor program and regularly sceduled CSI social activities. For Rho Theta chapter members, CSI is more than just an honor society - it is our counseling community.

Education Policy Student Association
The Education Policy Student Association brings together graduate students enrolled in the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at The George Washington University, faculty, staff, alumni, policymakers, scholars, and advocates to build a greater understanding of federal, state and local issues related to education policy. The association will foster relationships between members of the association, The George Washington University community, alumni and various organizations and individuals within the community to promote awareness, understanding, professional development, and involvement in local, state and federal education policy.

International Education Association
The International Education Association at GW was created to share relevant information, to network with fellow students, and to experience the social side of our nation's capitol.  We aim to supplement students' graduate and post-graduate careers with informative programs, cultural events, social functions, and professional development programs.

To achieve these goals, we want to tap the wealth of diversity, experience, and knowledge that GW grad students bring to the student body.  Therefore, we want you to join us in finding ways to improve your experience in International Education.

Higher Education Student Association
As part of the George Washington University and the Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD), the Higher Education Student Association (HESA) is committed to a pursuit of excellence for all students interested in the field of higher education administration (HEA). Established in 1976, the HESA was created to foster a sense of community among HEA students, alumni, and faculty; to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on current issues in higher education; and to provide opportunities for professional and personal development.

HRD/HOL Student Association
The Human and Organizational Learning Student Association strives to create a sense of community within the graduate degree program and foster a forum for scholarly dialogue. It is our goal to promote the Human Resource professions within our community and around the world.
