FPP's Spring 2005 season was a diverse lineup of shows, including a ghostly drama, a popular Neil Simon comedy, and a musical version of Willy Wonka. Wonka in particular defined the season, selling out the Continental Ballroom for all three performances, and even drawing White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card (complete with Secret Service detail) as an audiance member. With Golden Tickets hidden inside five lucky programs and Wonka candy bars handed out at the door, it was a great time for all. Wonka was also the final FPP show for several cast members who graduated or transfered at the end of the year, and all of them are dearly missed. As much as Fools was a typical Neil Simon and FPP comedy (we love him), then Woman was a break from tradition. Director Amanda Costello saw this creepy show performed in London, and we adapted the chilling tale to the downstage with great success.
