Spring 2009

FPP's Spring 2009 season consisted of four fantastic productions.

The first was Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead, a play by Bert V. Royal. It was directed by senior Cameron Cain Chong.

Continuing the Peanuts theme, our second performance of the semester was You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. A musical by Andrew Lippa, it was directed by junior Ellen Barr.

The Third Annual Musical Cabaret was our biggest yet, featuring more than forty performers in nine musical numbers. These numbers included "For Good," from Wicked; "Tom, Dick, or Harry," from Kiss Me Kate; "Joyful, Joyful," from Sister Act Two; "Big Spender," from Sweet Charity; "The Origin of Love," from Hedwig and the Angry Inch; "Forget About the Boy," from Thoroughly Modern Millie; "Mama Who Bore Me," from Spring Awakening; "Xanadu" from Xanadu; and "Suddenly Seymour," from Little Shop of Horrors.

To wrap up the year, we took things to a whole new level of raunchiness with Terrence McNally and David Yazbek's musical The Fully Monty, which was directed by Sean Offer.
