“Try to remember, and if you remember, then follow...”

The Fantasticks
By Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt
Directed by Jen Russo
November 15-18
Mitchell Theater

The Fantasticks, by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, is the simple tale of a boy and a girl, in love despite the hatred between their families--or so they think. In reality, their fathers are best friends, feigning a feud to encourage the romance between their children. Having played off-Broadway for over sixty years, The Fantasticks holds the record for the longest-running musical in the world, and now comes to GW under the direction of sophomore Jen Russo.
