Fall 2007

This fall, Forbidden Planet Productions brought to GW two very different musicals, a well-known and well-loved comedy, and of course, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a yearly staple which provides the inspiration for FPP’s name.

Rocky Horror opened FPP’s season on October 27, 28, and 31, continuing its tradition of a midnight showing on Halloween.

Ken Ludwig’s award-winning comedy, Lend Me a Tenor, was performed from November 8-10 in Lisner Downstage.

A week later, the musical classic The Fantasticks returned to GW in the Mitchell Theater.

From November 15-18. FPP’s fall season drew to an end in Lisner Downstage from December 6-9 with HAIR, the legendary “American tribal love rock musical” that defined a generation and changed musical theater forever.

With a season filled with drag queens, opera singers, hippies, and teenage lovers, Fall 2007 was truly unforgettable.
