Philosophy
The position of Associate Producer is a relatively new position within FPP. As the company has expanded, Associate Producers have come to play a vital role in making our shows and other programming possible, in adding their knowledge and advice to the board, and in learning and developing into future board members.

There are two typical molds for an FPP Associate Producer, although these are by no means the only ways that one can become an AP. In the past, our APs have either been Juniors or Seniors who have had a broad experience with the company and provide their unique advice and abilities on an organizational level, or they have been new Freshman or Sophomores who assist with the production of shows and events and learn about the positions and requirements of a regular board member. FPP uses APs in this capacity to ensure succession on the Executive Board and provide leadership with experience in the values and programming of the company.

Eligibility
Any member of FPP is eligible to become an Associate Producer. A variety of criteria are used in selection, including dedication to the company in the past, theatrical knowledge and ability, and a desire for future work within the organization.

Application Process
Associate Producers are appointed for the semester and may be extended for the entire school year. Applications for a fall appointement are accepted through most of September, and applications for spring semester will be accepted during the month of December. For specific dates for the upcoming semester, please see our
