Pizza Social – Following the New Student Orientation – This Friday We would like to welcome you to join us this Friday, August 29th, following the new student orientation for a Pizza Social in the Quad next to Samson Hall. There will be free pizza, soda and chips and will serve as an excellent opportunity for incoming students to meet the faculty and returning students. We hope to see you all there at 12:30/1:00 pm.

Meet at the top of the Foggy Bottom Metro at 5pm. We will all metro over to the Navy Yard Metro together and buy our tickets at the stadium. Metro fare and baseball tickets will not be covered by AFSS. Please bring enough money to cover your metro fare and baseball tickets plus any food/drink at the game. Please check your email the day of in case of rain cancellation.

McFaddens Football Kick off Party no cover and open bar from 7pm-9pm admittance only with $10 ticket. Details given at orientation on Friday, Aug. 29th during the social following orientation. Pick up your ticket then or when you drop off your dues in Samson Hall.

TNT 7:30pm at Quigleys located at the corner of 21st and G St. 2036 G St. NW. Get off at the Foggy Bottom Metro.

Social event at Tony and Joes from 7pm until... Meet at Foggy Bottom Metro at 7pm and then off to Tony and Joe's. Mingle with your fellow For Sci folks. Located in Georgetown 3000 K St. NW

Nats vs. San Diego Meet at top of Foggy Bottom metro at 5pm. Everyone will metro over to Navy Yard Station together. Please bring enough money to cover your metro fare, ticket and any food/drink you may want.

Professor Ted Robinson will be speaking about Tire Photography and Casting. The presentation starts at 1pm in the Media and Public Affairs Building, Room 309. We hope to see you there!
