Who We Are

The Association of Forensic Science Students exists to enrich the educational curriculum for students of forensic sciences through contact with agencies and individuals with professional experience in the field. The beneficial real-world exposure imparted by the AFSS shall serve to inform students of the many opportunities available in the many disciplines in the field; to establish opportunities for the students to network with professionals, academic authorities, other students, graduates, and the community; to aid students in researching and obtaining careers; and to foster a general feeling of community among those tied to GW's Forensic Sciences Department. Events of the AFSS include seminars, speaker presentations, field trips, and social events.
