WELCOME!
Hello and welcome to Club Field Hockey at The George Washington University! Our team is a member of the Mason Dixon division of the National Field Hockey League. Our home games are held on the athletic field of the Mount Vernon campus here at GW, and on the weekends of our fall semesters we play colleges from all over the East Coast. We've had one great season after another, welcoming many new players each fall, and we just can't wait for another season of intense hockey and fun!
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to enjoy the sport of field hockey at a relatively competitive level. We welcome all who enjoy the sport, experienced or not, and have continuously had a great group of both male and female players. We definitely require commitment to the team, and practice attendance is important. This sort of dedication will only help us to maintain our record and show the other colleges that we are tough and unbeatable! So come on out and add to our fun and success! |
FRESHMEN, LOOK FOR US AT CI!
We will have a table set up at all the CI programs to advertise for our team. If you are interested in playing with us, we strongly encourage you to come and talk to one of our teammate representatives at the student organizations fair and ask any questions you may have.
