Programs

While we are still creating our program schedule for the 2008-09 academic year, below are some of the areas that we will center our programming around:

Recruitment/Retention- to promote the continued admittance of black graduate students and retention of current black graduate students through activities such as black graduate weekend and transitory support.

Community Service- to promote the well-being of our surrounding neighborhood through housing partnerships, events with city youth, and participation in charitable activities.

Campus Outreach- to promote higher education in the undergraduate community through mentorship programs and a series of workshops.

Professional and Social Networking- to promote knowledge and well-rounded development of black graduate students through conference attendance, research and presentation support, and social events.
